This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. I particularly liked its location just outside the city center, allowing for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were comfortable, with nice en suite bathrooms and good air conditioning. The breakfast spread was also delightful and had a variety of options to choose from.
Everything about this hotel was just perfect!

a bit noisy machine outside (I do'nt know what it was) forced us to close the window and use aircondition instead

Management and staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast in particular was really excellent. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
If you arrive on foot, eg from the station, the state of the pavements in the area around the hotel is poor. Best get a taxi ! This is not sometrhing the hotel can do anything about but visitors may wish to know in advance.

Review:
If you are a solo female traveler looking for a convenient location close to the historic city center, consider this hotel just outside the old city walls. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with basic amenities like air conditioning and new pillows, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast, and secure onsite parking is available for a fee if you book in advance. the only downside is a lack of hot water in the evenings, but this was quickly resolved.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Well-positioned for visiting the Old City and within easy walking distance of bus and train.
Rather expensive.

Mum & I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner was helpful. We would recommend getting a taxi from the station if travelling with luggage as the footpaths are amongst the worst i have seen. Great breakfast.

The value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices for a room with good air conditioning and a nice en suite bathroom. The staff were attentive and provided great service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, including the delightful brioches that I couldn't resist.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

Great location, only a short walk away from the beautiful historic center and plenty of restaurants and shops. Rooms are clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and a good selection of tea and coffee. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer tips on the best local attractions and how to get around.
The rooms are quite basic and could use some updating, but they are still perfectly functional and they offer everything you need for a city break. The breakfast could be a bit more varied, but it's still a nice touch and offers a good start to the day.

Clean, very convenient from both location and expanses point of view. Room is just ok, basic services are present and well maintained.Very clean! 10 min. walk from city centre, this its major pros..
Maybe one can find the breakfast poor , and a bit tiny the leaving room, but once you tasted the fantastic "finocchiona", prosciutto etc. it starts to be worth. Not the best though. I would suggest to change room looking sistem since it is a bit tricky to open/close.

The location was quite convenient for accessing the city. the complimentary breakfast was better than usual for this kind of accommodation. the Wi-Fi was fairly fast and reliable.
The room was crammed and dated. the walls were paper-thin and I could hear everything happening in the adjacent room.

Free parking and convenient access to the historic district of Lucca
Staff was not particularly attentive or interested in helping us. Room was spartan but acceptable. On a subsequent visit, we found a b & b with more charm, a better breakfast, extremely helpful staff, better location, and less expensive.
